NNBA Conference Postponed to the weekend of November 17 – 19, 2017
Just when I was looking forward to sticking my feet in the sand one last time before the end of summer, hurricane Irma had to show her might and become a category 5 storm – that will definitely cause strong winds and rain in the St. Pete Beach, FL area. Obviously it was the right call for Michelle Podlesni – President of the NNBA to postpone the conference, as the safety of everyone is priority.
Just so all of you are aware, the hotel was extremely accommodating when I called to switch my reservation from this coming weekend to the weekend of Nov. 17th. In addition, the airline, car rental and Michelle herself, were all extremely helpful.
If you were planning on attending the NNBA Conference, please call the hotel at (800) 344-5999 to cancel your current reservation and they will gladly switch the dates of your current reservation to the new dates of Nov. 17-19.
Although I won’t be able to stick my feet in the sand before the end of summer, if all goes well, I will have them in the sand in November!
As for now and the rest of the week, BE SAFE EVERYONE! Hurricane Irma is definitely a powerful and life-threatening storm. If you can, evacuate now so that you are not faced with similar devastation like what Harvey caused.
Best Wishes!
