“I have had the pleasure of working with Damion since the beginning of 2017, in the capacity of his writing continuing nurse education courses for my online CEU company. As an author and content expert, Damion is on point, accurate, thorough and knowledgeable. His writing skills have made my job of editing and “publishing” the online education courses so much easier!
As a nursing professional Damion seems to have endless positive energy and enthusiasm, two traits that in my book are necessary to possess as a teacher of our future nurses and nursing assistants. To me it is truly obvious and evident that Damion is passionate about nursing, it shows in his quality of work, the ethics of his actions and in his commitment to each of his endeavors.
Damion is a wonderful asset to our nursing profession and I would not at any time hesitate in his recommendation.”
– Capra Dalton, RN, CEO
“Damion, quite simply, gets it. He approaches projects with a commonsense and practical logic while still bringing energy and passion to his work. In the several years I’ve managed Damion’s contract work for Kaplan Test Prep, he’s built an impressive catalogue of high-performing, high-quality articles for the KTP nursing community and brand. His copy is always informed, well-researched, engaging, on-point, and on time.
He also excels at pitching great concepts and winning ideas that resonate with audiences. Of all our freelance contributors, his pitches consistently get business and marketing buy-in, because he actively demonstrates a robust understanding of what nurses—and those studying to become nurses—want to know. Damion is an authority in his field. He takes his work seriously while still approaching every project with eagerness and an upbeat attitude. I can’t speak highly enough about his initiative.
He has consistently made my job easier by being reliable, conscientious, and intuitive about the needs of others—both those he works with and those he reaches in his writing. He is an unambiguous pleasure to work with, and a true find for any company.”

“My journey to conquer the NCLEX and obtain my RN license was not exactly an easy road. After failing the NCLEX on my first attempt, I was devastated to say the least. After my second failed attempt, I felt defeated – but I knew I had to figure out a way to get through.
That’s when it was recommended that I seek out one of my favorite past clinical instructors Damion Jenkins, RN, MSN. Damion was always an outstanding, nurturing, kind, knowledgeable and open minded instructor, so when I got word that he was offering tutoring, I knew I had to book him right away.
Damion helped me in so many ways that I could never really repay him. He helped me to analyze NCLEX questions in a way that I just wasn’t doing before. He helped me pick questions apart and really figure out what was being asked. He showed me how to truly throw out junk answers and how to avoid getting caught up in picking the wrong “trick” answer choices.
Damion went over countless questions with me, session after session until I found myself breaking down questions the way he did. My accuracy improved after our third session, and I booked him for the recommended fourth session just because I knew it would help me.
Damion gave me the confidence and strategies that I needed to retake the NCLEX and defeat it. After our sessions, I felt ready for the third – yes third time to take the NCLEX, and I set a date, didn’t tell anyone, and took the test. 48 hours later I found out that I passed! I was so elated, relieved and so very thankful for Damion’s help that he was the second person that I called to share the good news!
All I can say is that if you or someone you know are in need of help with nursing school exams, or studying for the NCELX, please do yourself a favor and book Damion right away! Not only is he great at what he does, I could feel his passion for teaching every step of the way!
I have no idea how I would have ever gotten over the hurdle of the NCLEX without Damion, and I believe with all my heart that he is a true blessing!”
– Melanie Hopkins, RN
“Nursing was a second career for me so everything about it was new, and I found myself struggling with critical thinking questions. I had a few bumps and bruises while in nursing school (who didn’t?), but the NCLEX was by far my biggest struggle. So needless to say when I failed it, I felt like a failure!
Thankfully, I found out about Damion and his wonderful tutoring service through a friend of mine, and I reached out to him for help. My experience with Damion was exactly what I needed.
He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. He was able to help me bridge the theory and clinical gap that plagued me. Through his individualized and laid-back instruction, I was able to answer the NCLEX questions with a Nurse’s instinct, which proved to be a success!
Damion and his awesome teaching skills helped me reach my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse and I am so very grateful for him! Thank you Damion, you are my hero!”
– Tasha Harris-Edwards, RN
“Through nursing school, I had no problem with my grades or my confidence on exams. Then the final step crept up on me very quickly. Although I felt prepared for the NCLEX, like everyone else, my nerves went crazy the second I sat in that big room full of computers.
Attempt 1- fail. Attempt 2- fail. Attempt 3- fail, every time getting all 260 questions and using up all the time. I knew whatever I was doing was obviously not working and test anxiety got the best of me. Its funny because I never experienced test anxiety before, and it really made me shut down mentally all three times I attempted the NCLEX.
After the third unsuccessful attempt, it was recommended by a friend of mine to connect with Damion so that I could get my test anxiety under control. Damion completely changed my mindset on how to study, what not to waste time looking into, and how to utilize what I have been previously taught.
With his calm and passionate instruction, he instantly made me feel better and really provided me with a strong direction in preparing to pass the NCLEX. Attempt 4- PASS!
I want to thank Damion for his time, professionalism, and kindness through THE most difficult time in my life! It is people like him that take the time to sit and really help you find the best strategies to use when taking this difficult test.
Thank you Damion for everything you did for me, and for helping me get the two letters behind my name that I struggled for 6 months to get. You changed the entire test for me and I can’t thank you enough!”
– Adam Prescott, RN
“Damion was always the bright one of the bunch in so many ways. He is intelligent, passionate, and caring; all the makings of an excellent nurse, which he is. His dedication, service, and investment in the field of nursing is a true testament to his love of the profession.
I take great comfort in knowing he is helping mold the futures nurses.”
– Christy Rodriguez, RN
“What to say about Damion! He is a fabulous nurse and started me off as a new grad. He taught me so much, but the one thing I truly lacked in after coming out of the military, was patience and compassion. He always had a smile on his face and knew how to make me confident and comfortable to do things on my own.
As a charge nurse now after only 2 years(started charging at a year and a half) as a nurse I owe a lot of my success to him. I have taken the knowledge he has given me across the US to Texas and appreciate all of the tools he has given me to keep pushing forward and never look back! Thank you Damion!”
-Danielle Quigley, RN
